Labor unrest is a bummer for everyone. Gene Schoenfeld tells me that at a benefit for sex workers health care last week, a professional escort told him she'd refused to cross picket lines outside hotels in which she works. This not only reduced her income, she said but also created hardships for many hotel guests.
